Steve got his start as a drummer like most musicians - in high school, but it wasn't until more than 10 years later that he began his career as a musician.

In the mid 90's, Steve played his first real gig with popular Latin rock band, the Basics. Since that time, he has been a fixture on the Houston music scene playing with an array of rock and Latin performers including Los Super Vatos, Bubba Hernandez (Brave Combo), David De La Garza (La Mafia), Sancho and Andy Garcia (Santana).

Over the past 10 years, Steve has made a name for himself as not only a solid, in-the-pocket drummer, but a skilled technician who is comfortable in a variety of musical genres.

Jeff was actually there for Steve's first "real" gig when they both worked with the Basics and the time the two have put in working in different projects shows.

After joining the band in 2006, his impact was felt immediately through his incredible energy, funky approach and diverse skillset, allowing the band to stretch out musically in ways it hadn't before.
